It's all in the details

I have always had an affinity for helping people and organizing things to "make sense." I care about how things look and sound, and I like for people to trust me. This inherently means I have always been the teachers pet (a teacher may or may not have named her daughter after me).
Little known fun fact: Many years ago I submitted my art portfolio and was accepted into an esteemed art and architecture program here in Tennessee.... Then I chickened out (!) and went with something I thought I "knew better"-communication disorders.
I obtained my Bachelors, Masters, and Clinical Doctorate degrees in Audiology from the University of Tennessee in the Mid 2000s. In my career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings: pediatric and adult ENT, a satellite hearing aid location, and in private practice. While in all positions, I have been in charge of marketing and document creation; however, I was specifically hired for the satellite location to build it from the ground up--and it was amazing. I loved branding my office, promoting it, meeting new people, and trying new things outside of healthcare (Radio and television commercials! Billboards! Newspaper ads! Facebook ads!). It tapped in to a creative and productive side I loved and missed. Not only that—I got to see the fruits of my labor from start to finish—super cool!
I am married to a wonderful man, and together, we have a well blended family of five (yes, FIVE) boys (yes, ALL BOYS). We live in our sweet little hometown and our property has beautiful mountain and farm views. A pure dream!
As the boys have grown, I have looked for ways to learn and "do more." A body in motion stays in motion! This has included tapping back in to my first love: creating! It looks a little different than I imagined, but isn't that the beautiful thing about life? It's always changing, evolving, and most of the time, a little unexpected.
So that is how we got here. I am passionate about doing quality, detailed work for business owners, while raising my young men in to great men. I appreciate everyone who entrusts me with the opportunity to do both those things.
